In 25 years of Tree Removal, there is no tree scenario we haven’t seen
All of our Services
We offer a wide range of tree services. Below you will find a detailed list of the types of service we provide and specialize in.
Although tree removal is a last resort there are circumstances when it is necessary.
Removal is recommended if the tree:
Is dead or dying
Is considered an irreparable hazard
Is causing an obstruction that is impossible to correct through pruning
Is to be replaced by a more suitable specimen
Is in an area where new construction requires removal
Emergency Storm Services
Fred’s Tree Service is on-call to handle most tree emergencies and storm-related tree situations:
Snow and ice damage
Trees with defects can all cause substantial damage to your trees and property at the most inconvenient times. In the event you find yourself in one of these unfortunate situations, call Fred’s Tree Service to rapidly return you and your property to safe conditions.
Crane Tree Removal
When using a crane:
We can provide a safe and efficient no impact tree removal at a lower cost than traditional methods.
Greatly reduces the amount of time that it takes to remove the tree and it also decreases the impact to the surroundings.
Removing trees with a crane is half art and half science. No two trees are alike, and each individual tree must be handled differently.
During the meeting, we will determine the best area for the crane to be set up. Multiple factors will be taken into consideration. Elevation/grade changes, overhead obstacles, distance from the landing and picking areas and of course space for the crane.
Prior to lifting the tree climber/cutter into place, the crane operator and tree climber will formulate a strategy for the removal process. Each cut and lift will be carefully planned and discussed.
Once a removal plan is established the work will then begin.
Stump grinding allows a safe, efficient, and complete tree stump removal so that you can use the area where the tree once was for a different purpose:
We use a high-tech, professional stump grinder to mechanically remove the entire tree stump.
Stump grinding is the most efficient and effective form of stump removal. When you opt for stump grinding, you can rest assured that the entire tree stump will be removed, thus eliminating the hazards and safety risks of an exposed stump.
Stump grinding also ensures that termites, ants, bees, snakes, and other pests do not have a ready habitat in which to nest.
Opting for stump grinding rather than stump removal demands less of an impact on your landscaping.
Stump grinding does not create a hole, and the grindings from the stump can be used as mulch for your landscaping.
Pruning may be necessary to maintain or improve the health, appearance, and safety of trees.
These techniques include:
Eliminating branches that rub against each other
Removing limbs that interfere with wires, building facades, gutters, roofs, chimneys, windows, or that obstruct streets or sidewalks
Removing dead or weak limbs that pose a hazard or may lead to decay
Removing diseased or insect-infested limbs
Creating better structure to lessen wind resistance and reduce the potential for storm damage
Training young trees
Removing limbs damaged by adverse weather conditions
Removing branches, or thinning, to increase light penetration
Improving the shape or silhouette of the tree
